What�s the benefit of using the MSUALUM.COM email forwarding
service?
The major benefit of this servce is that it provides you with a single permanent email address (e.g. username@msualum.com) for receiving messages.
A valid email account is required to use this service (e.g. AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.).
You can change
your email address (forwarding) as often as you like without
having to notify your family/ friends of the change to your real
email address.
How do I setup email forwarding
Step 1: While registering,
be sure to create your username and enter a valid email address. After
clicking "Submit",
you'll see the following portion of the next screen:

Step 2: Click on "Email Forwarding".
Step 3: The next screen confirms that
email forwarding has been enabled which looks like the following:

Step 4 : Send yourself a test message
(username@msualum.com) and check your main email address to verify
your account is working properly..
How do I change my forwarding address?
- Update your permanent email address in your online directory record.
- At this time, please send all changes to forwarding@msualum.com.
Changes will be made within 24 hours or less.
- A new email forwarding system is being developed due to a problem we're currently experiencing.
What are the basic rules for creating a username ?
- No spaces allowed in username. Also, username should
not contain full email addresses (i.e. should be smithjohn, not
smithjohn@msualum.com).
- No puncuation in username except the underscore (e.g. JOHN_SMITH),
dash (e.g. JOHN-SMITH), and period (or dot) (e.g. JOHN.SMITH).
- Username must begin and end with an alphanumeric
character.
