Transitioning from Academia to Industry

Event Description

You are invited to join MSU alumna Lori Badura as she discusses her occupational transition from academia to industry. Lori currently holds a position at EMD Serono as their Global Search & Evaluation Lead for Neurology and has previously held positions at the New England Research Institutes, Inc. (NERI), Percepts, and Pfizer Global Research and Development. She received her PhD in Neuroscience from Michigan State University in 1988 and has since moved through a variety of both academic and industry related positions. Graduate students are welcome to drop in with their lunch to hear Lori’s presentation and ask her questions related to her experiences in transitioning to the industry job sector as a PhD.
