How do you tell a story?

Dr. Rod Berger, ’98, is a strategic storyteller who creates engaging narratives to build trust, empathy and team spirit.

Stories are a powerful tool that can evoke emotions, inspire ideas and bridge cultures. They allow people to see the world through another’s eyes, to walk in their shoes and feel their emotions.

But what does it take to capture a good story? Dr. Rod Berger has been sharing stories of people all around the globe. These include celebrities such as Magic Johnson, Richard Branson and the Pope, as well as unsung heroes like war veterans and rural inhabitants, striving to bring water to their villages.

“There are three elements in the story to keep it simple – the purpose, the impact and the role.”

– Dr. Rod Berger

Behind any organization or group, there are stories of its individual members that reveal, inspire and define. That is how they make a difference.
